Checkout Settings controls how the checkout process works on your storefront.

Shipping Address Selection
At the shipping step, customers pick from their saved addresses using a dropdown, with a button to add a new address. This replaced the earlier radio-button list.
The option to ship to multiple addresses is hidden when the cart contains only one item, since there is nothing to split. When split shipping is enabled and the cart has more than one item, checkout adds an item assignment step where customers choose which items go to which address.
If a vendor's shipping rates cannot be retrieved, checkout explains the problem and offers a retry rather than continuing silently.
